Dress code wording opinions

I feel so sorry for modern brides. The Wedding Industry has really done you a great disservice with the invention of RSVP cards. Back in the old days (1960s) we didn have to cram every single bit of information into the invitation because we knew we Avondjurken 2012 be having a nice, long phone conversation with our guests (or at least a member of their family) long before the date of the ceremony. During that conversation we Cocktailjurken 2012 talk about things like what to wear, what guests should expect in the way of food, drink, and activity, driving directions, who is or is not welcome, and so on.

How did we arrange to have this conversation? We did our RSVPing by phone. Of course, the busy bride didn make or take all these phone calls herself; friends and family did most of it. Do Avondjurken 2012 this and you don have to worry about how to include in the invitation this sort of information which has no business in the invitation at all. Do this and you save the cost of printing the cards AND the cost of putting postage on them.
